Koller Names St Margaret’s Hospice Care as Charity of the Year for 2025

Published: 3rd February 2025

Koller Engineering is proud to announce St Margaret’s Hospice Care as its Charity of the Year for 2025. As part of this initiative, Koller will donate £1 from every wheelchair restraint sold throughout the year to support the hospice’s vital work across Somerset.

St Margaret’s Hospice Care, with locations in Yeovil and nearby Taunton, has been a cornerstone of support for patients, families, and carers facing life-limiting illnesses for over 40 years. Their services include specialist day centres, family support, a 24-hour Advice line, and community nursing, all designed to offer comfort and care to those who need it most.

The funds raised through Koller’s initiative will be donated at the end of 2025 and used where they are needed most, helping the hospice to continue delivering its invaluable services.
Leoni Mullis, Director at Koller, said: "We are delighted to name St Margaret’s Hospice Care as our Charity of the Year for 2025. Their compassionate support has touched many local families, including my own, and we are honoured to contribute to their incredible work. By donating £1 from every wheelchair restraint sold, we hope to make a meaningful impact and give back to a charity so close to our hearts."

Kerry Baillie, St Margaret’s Community Partnership Manager said: "We are absolutely delighted that Koller has chosen to support St Margaret's Hospice as their Charity of the Year. Their generosity will make a tremendous difference to the lives of our patients and their families. Partnerships like this are vital in helping us continue to provide the compassionate care that reaches across Somerset. We look forward to working closely with the team at Koller throughout the year.”

This partnership reflects Koller’s commitment to supporting its local community while recognising the exceptional care and services that St Margaret’s provides to people across Somerset.
